New names for the new diesel engines and gasoline

In complement of a particle filter, the new diesel engines Blue dCi are equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) functioning with AdBlue, a solution based on water and of urea.

To reduce the particulate emissions, the new engines gasoline with direct injection henceforth integrate a filter into particles (FAP). The filter retains the particles present in exhaust fumes, then burns them via an automatic and very regular regeneration. The particle filter does not require maintenance.
