Locate, select, load with Z.E. Trip

Z.E. Trip has 3 main advantages: 

• a quick search for 12 charging points compatible with your electric vehicle, around you or your destination (within a 50km radius), 
• a real-time display of the availability of charging stations, 
• a display of your route on your R-LINK screen for easy access to the charging stations. *

Z.E. Trip works on all versions of R-LINK navigation from version 11.335 (11.335.2094591-7025) launched in November 2015.  If you have an earlier version, you can easily update your R-LINK. Simply insert your vehicle's SD card into your computer and go to the R-LINK Store, via MY Renault, to download the latest available version of the software.

If you have just aquérir a vehicle new Renault Z.E., the installation of service Z.E. Trip is done automatically on your R-LINK.   If it is not the case: 

• ensure you to have a version R-LINK higher than 11.335 (information accessible via Système > XXXX > XXXX) or made an update by connecting chart SD of your vehicle to R-LINK Store since your computer,
• you ensure that the connected services " My Z.E. Connect " are activated. 

Updated R-LINK the services activated " My Z.E. Connect ", it any more but does not remain you to be returned to you on R-LINK Store to download the application. Profit, its installation and its use is free during 3 years! 

If you are equipped with R-LINK navigation on Renault ZOE or Renault KANGOO (vehicles delivered after 2016), the Z.E. Trip is made available to you free of charge for 3 years (from the date of download of the application).

Z.E. Trip

Z.E. Trip gives you access: 

• the availability status of the connected charging stations (free or busy), 
• during opening hours of charging stations, 
• the types of cables or plugs compatible, 
• the power available for each charging station, 
• the type of access to charging stations (self-service or subscription), 
• at the address of the charging stations and the distance between them and your current location or destination. 

The power of a charging station is specified by a number of flashes.

• 1 flash: normal charge,
• 2 flash  : accelerated charge,
• 3 flash  :  fast charge. 

The terminal stall is indicated by a color: 

• red when the terminal is occupied,
• green  when the terminal is free,
• white  when the terminal does not deliver information (non-communicating or not connected to an interoperability platform). 

Yes. We even strongly recommend that you use this service to avoid ending up at a charging station that is not compatible with the charging cable (s) of your vehicle. 

To do this, simply go to the Navigation menu> Settings> EV settings> Cable settings, then check the type (s) of cable you have. 

After selecting a terminal on the Z.E. Trip, you just have to click on "Select" for the navigation to start. 

Connected, the Z.E. Trip sends a request each time you enter a destination in your R-LINK navigation to obtain information on charge points. For Z.E Trip to work, your car must therefore be connected via the network. If your connectivity subscriptions are up to date and the message "The service is not currently available. The data will not be up to date" is displayed, this indicates that the connection is not established, probably because you are in an area not covered by the telephone network. The message informs you that the results displayed will correspond to the results of your last request, updated according to your GPS position, but without notifying you of the availability of terminals. 

Without action on your part and without launching a new request, the availability status automatically changes to "unknown" after 10 minutes. After this time, the application considers that the availability of the terminal may have changed and that a request must be made to update the occupancy statuses. 

When you are already on the "Search for terminals" tab, simply click on "Refresh" to start a new search. 

The charge price is not displayed on Z.E Trip because it depends on the supplier. You can however find it in the Z.E. Pass, available free of charge. 

It is not yet possible to book a terminal today because operators do not offer this service with standardized and generalized booking methods. We are currently working to offer you this service soon. 

Today Z.E. Trip shows you the charging stations near your destination. Its function is to allow you to easily locate the charging stations and simplify recharging your vehicle when you need it. We are currently working to go even further in integrating recharging into navigation and thus make other services available to you in the future. 

There can be several explanations :

• Z.E. Trip refers only to terminals accessible to the public and open to all (possibly subject to subscription). If the terminal is not indicated by Z.E Trip, it may therefore be a private terminal. 

• filters of research which you selected in the parameters (cables available in the car, power of the point of load, availability, means of payment, etc.) can exclude the terminal from the results.

To offer you this service, we depend on foreign operators who must connect their terminals to a roaming platform. Each month new terminals are connected. Z.E Trip tells you whether they are located in France or abroad.
